A pity indeed. Am I right to assume you can claim many copies of the same Humble Gift on the same email? Their system seems the most easily abusable of them all.

Actually, my question mostly concerns the feasibility of scripting the whole process. If a single Name and email is all you need, the script is practically trivial to make and there's probably some out there that have dozens of copies of the same games, keeping them for trade. So, no, it likely wasn't a ninja :/

Oh, I had not thought of that. Well... I hope whoever swiped them will enjoy them and not let them sit in their ever increasing backlog...
