I'm going with Nosferatu. The fact it was made so early in film history just adds to the horror effect. It llooks so real and authentic. Remake from the 70's is also great.

I'm in for:

SOMA
Dead Space

Thanks a lot, Doc. Your super-generosity is amazing.

I have a lot of horror movies in my "to see" list. Cabin in the Woods is well regarded. An American Werewolf In London (or is Paris?) in that list (one is good, the other is not).
The Prince of Darkness was very enjoyable, and The Exorcist was too. I really felt the tense moments and feared for the characters.

LEGO® Batman 2 DC Super Heroes™
Layers of Fear
Zombie Night Terror

Oh, and while I have enjoyed some movies like Ringu / The Ring, once you give a physical form to the threat, you either make it invincible (as in the Jeepers Creepers) or it appears to be a poor case of survival instincts (as in Screams). But that is just my view. Thanks again.

Layers of Fear

I like "The Blob" (remake from 1988).

Thanks for the giveaway! +1

I like the Hellraiser movies, because the depicted world is really horrific.

And I´m in for:

SOMA

LEGO® Batman 2 DC Super Heroes™

Thanks for your generosity :)
not sure if I'm eligable, but would like to mention

Screamers 1995 was a movie that made me pay attention when ever you heard an unexpected noice in the dark, was deployed overseas and watched it pre-american release.
Thanks for the great giveaway!
These games are one better than the other, so I'm in for:

1. Saints Row IV: Game of the Century Edition
2. SOMA
3. SOMA
4. Layers of Fear
5. LEGO® Batman 2 DC Super Heroes™
6. The Walking Dead: Season 2
7. Dead Space™
8. Zombie Night Terror

Coming to my favourite horror films, many people have already mentioned The Thing, a masterpiece of the horror genre, but all the Carpenter filmography is to be recommended for those who want to see quality horror films, as many have already said.
Among modern movies, instead, I strongly recommend The Cabin in the Woods and Get Out, two horror movie that propose something new and entertain in an intelligent way.
Braindead!
I've never watched any horror movies but once my brother watched The Conjuring with his friends and it scared the hell out of them.

I am in for:-
1. The Walking Dead: Season 2
2. LEGO® Batman 2 DC Super Heroes
3. Dead Space
4. SOMA
Not in - also not a horror fan - but I also liked American Werewolf in London, Fright Night (w/ Roddy McDowall), Gremlins, and the rest are more comedy than scary

Young Frankenstein, Little Shop of Horrors, Beetlejuice, Ghostbusters I & II, Monsters Inc, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Scooby Doo 1 & 2, Coraline, Corpse Bride, Harry Potter, The Addams Family 1 & 2, Love at First Bite, Dracula Dead & Loving it ...

Usually I'm not into horror, but one of my favorite movies is May. It starts like a high-school drama from the introvert's point of view gone horribly wrong and spirals down that path. This time you can feel with the sick killer which is something that rarely happens.
I won't spoiler it much more, you should watch it.
It also ends on Halloween.

Not in, I got what I need.

But every year I urge people to see Adam's Apples for Halloween. It defies a strict genre besides maybe "Black Comedy", but it incorporates a whole lot of horror movie tropes and scared the living hell out of me when I first watched it. Also, it has Mads Mikkelsen in his arguably creepiest role. About an actor who played both a James Bond villain as well as Hannibal fucking Lecter, that's a bold thing to say, I know. :)
I must admit I have a fond memories of "A Nightmare on Elm Street". Sure it's not a very sophisticate movie but very iconic witm many memorable details (couting-out song, this... is god, half of the death scenes)

I'm also not a fan of horror movies but i remember liking Blade trilogy because of vampires and 2000's vibe.
Thanks and +1 for the giveaway.
I am in for Dead Space.

My favorite horror movies are probably the Poltergeist trilogy. I remember watching part 2 in a cinema and thinking "nothing can happen here - all doors are closed in this room and there is no monster to see." Then the ceiling opened and monsters arrived out of nowhere.Nothing is safe in these movies and everything can happen. Also liked the actors.
