Dont get him wrong, as he is in favor of regional pricing. Me absolutely not because i probably have to pay the highest price world wide.
Truth is, there can not be such a thing as "fair prices related to countries" because there are rich and poor people just at every single location. Those prices are here because "it works" or in order "to make something work"; no other reason.
Yes, in my country people in general... not always but in general, got a high salary but on the other hand many prices required for living are ripping you of and in the end... there is much lesser coins left than anyone "from outside" could ever imagine, because they rarely got a clue how expensive it is, they are not used to this level of "rip off".
However, the EU is slowly catching up... their inflation the last few years was "rocket-like", amazing even watching it.
Regarding NIS: They do support regional pricing on other platforms very hard but only very minor on GoG, for whatever reason. There is a huge effect for countries like Brazil but no effect for me, because for me it was always pricey on every single platform and it will stay like this. Most likely they got in mind "DRM free is a premium, resulting in only minor regional pricing".
