If you have Twitter you might show support.

(BTW, by now I'm well aware of all the reasons this probably won't happen, so there's no need to tell me that. This is a "well, couldn't hurt to try, right?" thread)

hehe keep up the good fight , i was looking at the community wishlist and would have been nice if someone made a attempt to get some reason as to why these games are not considered for a gog release

1) metal gear solid 1 & 2
2) Age of empires series
3) monkey island 3 & 4
Congratulations on tweeting a Japanese company. You have shown 1+ interest in the product.

Bamco needs at least 50,000.

1. Konami. They aren't even in the industry but for a token effort.
2. Microsoft. There are no Microsoft games on GOG. Knowing the misplaced efforts of the company, there shan't be for some time.
3. Legal limbo.
Is that Geralt's brother? The picture could have been in in a The Witcher 3 DLC news article, and I would have believed it.

The article calls Denuvo "controversial". Controversial in what way? I recall people claiming here it doesn't affect the end-user at all, so what is the controversy? I'm not talking about the DRM-free aspect here, but from a casual end-user point of view who just buys a game and plays it; is Denuvo somehow "controversial" also to them?

Ps. Even if that game chooses not to use Denuvo, I presume it does not mean it will be DRM-free either? The very least, it will use Steam CEG, or maybe even SecuROM or whatever.

Not SecuROM. That's blocked OS level in WIndows 10, putting it in a nice coffin and nailing it shut though a stake to the heart.

Ok I thought that was only for some older CD-based revisions of SecuROM copy protection, not the newer online activation SecuROMs.

Does that mean there are no Steam games anymore with SecuROM, it has been removed from all those where it was? I seem to recall from the past some Steam games mentioning using SecuROM as the DRM, not sure if the used DRM is nowadays listed.

Aw, nuts.
Keep up being relentless tfishell! +1

It's sad that the majority of those vocal on the GOG forums are old enough that they don't use social media, or lack the interest. I know that, I'm too old and busy to waste my time, picking up something that feels like a fad. I don't have the time or interest.

It's only rare occasions like these, where a higher density of messages could hopefully produce some results, that make me doubt the uselessness of social networks.
