I tried redeeming this, but it kept giving me an error. I searched the store to look the game up, and it's not there. Now I'm just confused. Is this game not on GOG?

That's correct; it's not on GOG. It was a Steam key.

Oh. I didn't know. :-( If I had, I wouldn't have bothered trying. Are all the codes in this thread Steam? I assumed they'd all be GOG. Is there a way to tell?

Most of them are Steam keys. You can tell if it's a Steam key or a GOG key by the format. Both are alphanumeric, but have different formatting. GOG keys are 4 blocks of 5, like "AAAAA-BBBBB-CCCCC-DDDDD", and Steam keys have three different formats, which are "AAAAA-BBBBB-CCCCC" "AAAAA-BBBBB-CCCCC-DDDDD-EEEEE" and "237ABCDGHJLPRST 23"
