You’re just one Linux version away of getting my pledge, and probably many others ;)

Well, if you can’t promise it yet but bring it at some point you’re still getting a sale from me as soon as its ready. Nighthawks looks very promising!

Linux is "I promise I will try". I'd love to say 'sure!', but the simple truth is that I don't know much about Linux, and there's possible complications with the fact that we're using video backgrounds and so there could be codec issues - the demo uses h264, the full game is planned to use h265. That said, there are options that I'm looking into, which MIGHT mean 'Linux has static backgrounds', it MIGHT mean 'it runs okay under WINE/Proton/etc', or it MIGHT mean 'I'm really sorry, but it doesn't work, sad-face.' It will definitely be 'please don't ask for support running it, because I just don't know Linux well enough to offer it on that platform'.

I know that's kinda bad Kickstartering, and the expected response is "Absolutely, and a bag of chips!", but I try not to promise anything I can't be 99% sure I can guarantee. However, you're not the first to ask, and I do promise to at least do what I can, as a writer-programmer with a copy of Unity and folks I know who want it.

As long as you’re helpful and show a true will to support Linux, it doesn’t matter if it is perfectly supported or not: the Linux gaming community is here to help making the game run smoothly ;)

I’m pretty sure this will hit the goal thanks to the final surge of pledges in the last 48h.
And that’s a good thing, because this is the kind of game I’ve been waiting for since I first played Sunless Sea, who really got me into narrative superheavy games.

I've "played" the demo yesterday, although it is rather short, I would say it shows the atmosphere and potential of the game pretty well.

The demo is from the very start of the game, and I just... I want to be in the middle of the game already, experiencing #thatatmosphere and #thatstory.

We are officially at the point where the goal would be met if everyone who has backed raised their pledge by $3. We are soooo going to get there :)
