Washington can't beat anyone in the playoffs. :P Don't get me wrong, the Pens are amazing and deserve all the praise they get, but the Caps are a post season joke.

It was 80's night in Winnipeg to start the season. Toronto wins 7-2, The Jets had 8 power plays.

Most fun team to watch and all the big guys get on the score sheet. Auston Matthews, William Nylander, Mitch Marner, Jams van Riemsdyk and Patrick Marleau for the Leafs and Mark Scheifele scores for the Jets with an assist from Patrik Laine. What a game.

The Maple Leafs offense has such wicked potential, glad the defense and goaltending held the Jets to two goals late in the third and the penalty kill was a perfect 8-for-8.

In one of my hockey pools, I have Schenn, Tarasenko, and Allen. I guess I'm a Blues fan this season too.

First game I ever went to was against Hartford.

LOL! I can't fear any team that has Randy Carlyle as its head coach. Yeah - the Ducks won the Cup when he was their coach the previous time, but they won despite him and not because of him.

In a sport that keeps getting faster and is more skilled based, Randy thinks you need, not just four, but five grit lines. I am so glad he is no longer with the Maple Leafs. Under coach Mike Babcock, Nazim Kadri has blossomed instead of being crushed, the same is true with Jake Gardner. I could only imagine how Randy Carlyle would and could destroy the careers of Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and William Nylander.

I'm watching Nashville vs Boston and I can't tell who's who! :P

Greatest post season game I ever saw was '96 4 OTs with the Pens. Kolzig! Deserved so much better. Actaully, game 7 94 finals was the greatest post season game I ever saw skill-wise. But the 96 Caps was one of my favorite memories. They extened closing time at the bar (normally 1 is last call) the place was crazy. Ahh memories.

And please, dont mention the Hurricanes in the same breath as The Mighty Whale. They are far from the same. Gordie didnt wear some goofy twirly thing on his jersey.
