It is not about the newsletter language, but in general the automated language selection.

1. Users should choose their language in the profile
2. On mainpage language and currency should be placed above all else as banner (like steam with language selection... best placed around the "sign in" or "register" label)
3. thank you for doing this, but you presumed all people understand English from the beginning so keep this up and keep the page default English.

People have found their way to GOG, because they understand English and many of your catalogue is still English and will always be.

Be smart GOG Team.

tinyE: How is it all the people complaining about this (and there are several; three separate threads last time I counted) are just assuming it's a deliberate action on the part of GOG? A company not even based in Germany starts sending out their newsletter in German and it doesn't occur to anyone that it might be a glitch or a bug? :P
I get German newsletters not because of a glitch but because of an oversight. GOG forgot that you can't always accurately determine someone's language based on the country they live in.
So people actually read newsletters?!?!

I mean not just looks at game portraits, dates, and the big % number?!?!

WHAT HAS THE WORLD TURNED INTO.........

!!!O_O!!!

Would not be the first company to sacrifice their old followers to increase their possible market share.

Sadly no it wouldn't, but I think positive and I can't imagine GOG going there at this point.
Changed the country in Account/my location to "Baker Island" 2 weeks ago.
Still receiving german newsletters.
