darthspudius: Iv got a disc that runs perfectly fine on win 7. Though I am not big on the game, I cant answer the first part.

nightcraw1er.488: I also have both games on disc, and the first works fine. The second has plenty of bugs. Its an ok shooter, but a lot of it is down to captuiring the 60's pretty well, its pretty varied too. Good game. The second not as good.
Cool thanks. That's good news because I'm still using win 7. I'll see if I can snag a copy off of amazon then, along with fakk2 while I'm at it.

Strijkbout: Funny, I have this feeling with most FPS's (Duke3D, Blood, Shadow Warrior) but not that I think I'm raving but NOLF was pretty good fun.
Coming to think of it, the major reason behind why I found Duke3D so amazing at the time was that for the first time I got to experience non-abstract levels in an fps. The first level genuinely feels like it's part of an actual city, with loads of identifiable components : an apartment, toilets, a bar stocked with alcohol, an arcade etc. and all laid out in a logical manner. Basically, it all felt real. And even later, with the alien bases and such, the levels still retain a feeling of realism with components such as ventilation ducts, control rooms, prison cells and so on.

Can't check at the moment, but I think the disc has protection, but you can pick up a nocd and run without it. Worth getting. I haven't played fakk yet, I own it, but it didn't run when I tried it (didn't have much of a try though). Just post if you have any difficulties.
