A new Indiana Jones game with an original story is in development by Bethesda's studio MachineGames and will be executive produced by Todd Howard in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

Hmm sounds like another possible point&click game.

Not sure i would trust Bethesda, but maybe it's a game where Microsoft is getting them back into the groove of doing the right things. Although after they crapped on their userbase, have to see how much this improves things.

Hmm, that trailer doesn't really tell you anything.

I really hope it's a proper adventure game like Fate Of Atlantis, and not an action game like The Infernal Machine.
Looking forward to buy it on Gog in 10-15 years from now. ;-)

Glad, that this character and universe will be continued. Films and games were milestones in my life.

Machine Games has only created action-shooter games, so it will definitely be an action game, plus they are already looking for "consumer friendly" monetization experts:

Aww, that's a pity. I would have bought it if it was an adventure game. ) ;
But thanks for the info, Alexim. At least I know now, not to get excited about it.
I always depicted Indiana Jones with some sort of BDSM lash, hitting those filthy bad guys. Do you think it can fit the "consumer friendly" monetization?
A hidden objects game? Perfect.
low rated
hope not one of those repixelling things where the improve the old game a little bit ,put lots of new bugs into it and call it a remastered and ask 30+ euros for it like the other scammers
An Uncharted is the most probably, Indy fits well in this style, an adventure game is more a dream, impossible nowadays. But they could revive Sophia, would be cool.

I thought of Uncharted as Indiana Jones. Except with asshole unlikable characters with very round-about physical puzzles that followed the linear story and felt empty, oh and also wanted to be a blockbuster movie thriller.

I will never be able to look at Indy the in the same way I used to after today.

A first person Indiana Jones would be interesting.

Consumer friendly monetization expert?
That is oxymoron.
Sadly it looks like it will be action game. I had some hopes when I saw Machine Games behind it (Wolfenstains were really well made and interesting games) but monetization aspect doesn't bode well.
