It's definitely an issue for me. Just between Witcher 2, Pillars of Eternity & Wasteland 2 I've got ~35GB to re-download. All told, I'm easily north of 50GB, and my internet connection is limited to 70GB of traffic a month.
hedwards: It's an improvement, but the wasteland 2 download is still a single massive 10.3 GB file. I'm not quite sure why they couldn't segment it off into several smaller downloads, tar does support splitting.
On the other hand, I know I'm at least one version behind on Wasteland 2 and Pillars of Eternity. Eventually, I'll the big ones re-downloaded, and then reap the rewards of differential updates.
I don't love the $HOME install location, I put them all in /usr/local/games. Of course, it does't really matter - we can still extract them.
