Unless it's an April Fools hoax, Steam got 4 new MPS titles today, not (yet?) on GOG...

1942: The Pacific Air War
F19: Stealth Fighter
Hyperspeed
Knights of the Sky

They also got Challenge of the Five Realms, but GOG already had that one. I would love to see all these old games on GOG. Any new MPS title anywhere always gives me hope!
They'll be here soon enough. Most Microprose titles find their way here, except that Magic: The Gathering game they made.
Not necessarily. The last batch ( Fleet Defender, Across The Rhine) never made it here.

What's going on, GoG? I don't want to split a collection between here and there.
Night Dive & Retroism suck...

yyahoo: Night Dive & Tommo suck...
Fixed it for you. Retroism is just a label used by those two companies.

I thought Tommo essentially changed their name to Retroism... I know all of the games that were listed as Tommo on GOG were changed to Retroism.

It's a brand used by Tommo.

"Tommo Inc., a global game and entertainment company has joined forces with Night Dive Studios, a game developer that specializes in the restoration and optimization of classic game titles to launch Tommo’s new Retroism brand, debuting today on Steam and other game portals."

Seems like the last four words of that statement were added incorrectly...

I openly wonder if Tommo has a hand in any of this anymore anyway. Maybe the whole point of the creation of Retroism was to hand over effective control of the Microprose catalog to Night Dive.

Funny thing is that I've just finished Knights of the Sky (I have it on an old CD collection). Good game, although gets pretty repetitive after a while, and the enemy AI also becomes very predictable.

tburger: Why?
Because they've stopped releasing the old Microprose games on GOG?
That game looks pretty cool! Here is the GOG [url=http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/hyperspeed]wishlist!

Back in the day, I bought KotS first and really liked it... until Red Baron came out, and then it consumed all my time. I think I even sold off KotS afterwards and have since regretted it. Seems like I recall really liking the way KotS implemented the map, and being able to navigate by looking down and following the terrain/river/tracks/roads you'd seen on the map. Did I remember this wrong?

Maybe, maybe not. What if it was GOG that rejected the games in question?

You have a very odd crusade in your "GOG rejected" series of posts. Can't say I'm a fan... I'll stick to my theory in this instance.
