Why I can not sort my library to see which games have been recently updated?

WIth their recent "update" to the library the sorting options have been reduced to sorting by name and by date of purchase.

If you click on my collection you can select to display updated titles.

I don't think there was ever a sorting method by last updated. There's only ever been filtering by recently updated that goes away once you view it. And as paladin mentioned, it's still there.

A lot of people have been clamoring for that type of sort though, and it would be nice...

That works only in some cases. Sometimes this updated titles removed from the list before I see it and sometimes it seems some titles are not on this list but updated.

I often receive the notification, but when I view My Account, the update isn't listed yet. After a short while, it alwasy eventually shows up. I've never had the problem of the update notification disappearing without me viewing it...

You could check the "what did just update" thread for possible updates to games that you own.
At the moment the option to display updated games only is bugged but GOG are probably going to make it usable in the long run.

I've been asking for this for a while... especially since notifications are so horribly broken and I never get them.
