Very interesting, but sad short movie.

I watched Rakka and Firebase last night, really interesting, both deserve to be made into full-length films. Though Firebase's "explanation" for everything was a bit of a letdown.

There's nothing wrong with them...I actually quite enjoyed the War of the worlds movie from 1953.
But there's no need to recycle that material, certainly not in such a pseudo-edgy way as in that Blomkamp video.

And realistically, humanity probably wouldn't stand a chance against alien invaders.
The 1990s tv show Outer Limits did this quite well in several episodes (even if they were deeply depressing).

Wait, what? They've already made another two shorts while I wasn't looking? Guess I'll be watching them this weekend... along with Castlevania on Netflix. ;)
