The other day I was trying to buy something here and my bank flagged GOG as a fraudulent charge. I had to call my bank to tell them that it wasn't. I tried to get the purchase to go through like 10 times when it didn't go through the first time. Eventually I got it all sorted but I sure was a hassle to buy a 5.99 game.
The Problem is...I Have the Original Release of the Game. But can't Update it or do anything else with it. So I have to Buy the newer Deluxe Version to get all the Added stuff since the first release. SO I am buying the game Twice.

GOG was recommended to my by several people and nowhere else have I seen it at this low of price. The "Free" versions needed added files to them to play, Special files to even Open them and the People on YT are Full of Shite and don't explain Clearly step by step what to do, Skip over steps, already have all files need to do what they want you to do but don't tell where they got them from and so little more. OR just give a Link on where to get the Game that is a Pay link (they get paid for Clicks) and are full of Viruses.

I'll keep trying.

I know it is frustrating for Americans to buy from outside the US, but the others here are giving you good advice.
--> Use PayPal.
Quick, painless and your bank will not care about where in the world the money is going.

We hear this problem all the time in the forums, and it does not just effect Americans either.
Unfortunately I already have a Pay Pal account but have not used it for so long, I do not remember my info given and the Email associated with it has been closed because Yahoo kept changing stuff on me I could no longer log in. I tried to Reapply but it said I couldn't because the Debt Card number was already used.

May break down and go to Steam IF they put it On Sale again.

Actually it isn't...
If your bank doesn't let you buy GOGs, then it is time to find a new bank.
TOO LATE! Price Just Went Back Up To $5.99

Again...use a prepaid Green Dot card, and create a new PayPal account. You don't need to give them *any* financial information about yourself. No card number, no bank account number, nothing. Just load up funds, and spend them how you want, when you want.

Why do you capitalize words randomly in your sentences, by the way?

Sarcasm...
Though I'm an old GOGer and have been buying for the past 7 years, one of my purchases was blocked a few months ago. It was only a small effort to call my bank and get them to allow GOG transactions. I asked about why the change, since I had been buying from this website for such a long time; he explained that they had recently experienced a lot of fraudulent online game purchases using stolen credit cards.

Perhaps this is why the troubles have arisen.
