skimmie: if it's running it will display a small green-and-black icon in the system tray (bottom right on desktop).
Elmofongo: The Green Black Icon says NVIDIA Settings -edit- I've added a screenshot. The Synapse icon is the leftmost, green icon.

Garrett24601: Well I'm guessing you don't have it, but if you run the Razer Wizard. You can click check for updates and it will take you to Razer's page to get new drivers and Synapse (you will have to create an account with an email).
If you miss my post so far I think the mouse is working fine now. I even went as far as shaking the mouse and cables in the air with my hands and than check to see if it still works and it does.
But for all I know it might start disconnecting again later on. But for now I "think" I fixed it.
Well no I don't have an icon that looks like that

Have you installed any weird USB peripherals recently?
I've had one of those USB rocket launchers sitting around for years. Some months ago, I tried to install it and the installation intermittently broke USB (in such a way that it was difficult to relate back to the launcher). My computer would slowly lose USB ports over time, and I'd have to halt and restart individual ports manually in the device manager. Occasionally, on restart, several USB ports would wake up dead, and again, I'd have to start them manually.
edit:
Looks like I missed a "fixed" post.

But again its fixed "for now" because who knows if the issue will resurface.I've had one of those USB rocket launchers sitting around for years. For one of those rubber / cloth combos, I just run it under water and then hit it with a nail brush. Not sure how well it would hold up in a washer, but it might come out just fine. For a plasticky top surface, glass cleaner and a cloth works. Clean your mouse's feet while you're at it.
