As you know, finding a job here in Italy at the moment is hard. Very hard.
After a while I decided to do something different (and in the meanwhile, of course, I'm looking for a job).
So I wrote a book, a long novel, and I used Amazon to distribute it. The book is totally DRM-free, and it costs like two coffee.
For me it's a little dream becoming true and well, my real dream is to become a TRUE writer, but let'st proceed one step each time.

Congrats. Sadly I never got myself to finish one of mine, despite having put a lot of time and effort into them, so I know what an accomplishment this is. Now don't screw up the marketing.
My mother also published a book, it actually got exclusively good reviews by whoever read it but it never reached important people, her publisher didn't do jack shit about it. Having a book available somewhere isn't enough, neither is boosting likes on social platforms or something. You need to reach professional reviewers and/or popular bloggers etc.. I wish you the best of luck.
