Hi all, especially any blues lurking.

Just wondering if there have been previous notes of game libraries randomly shuffling each time the page is accessed.

Should I be scared?

p.s. sorry about the size of the pictures, apparently GOG won't let anything larger than 500kb upload.

I've encountered this too, was wondering how suddenly the last game I bought wasn't first, refreshed the page and it came back to normal.

Oh, it's been happening for an hour or two. Maybe my over excitement to come back has made my account go nuts.
Unfortunately your pictures were cut so that one can't see what it says on the top for "Sort by:". So, what does it say, and does that change too?

For me it says by default "Sort by: Purchase Date", and I do see the "newest" games on top, always. So no shuffling here. Not sure if there is shuffling in other "sort by"-settings like "Title", and no idea if that default setting can be changed somewhere, or is it that "purchase date" for all users?

EDIT: Aaaactually, I think I can kinda reproduce the problem. So I am doing these steps:

1. Change "Sort by:" to "Title".
2. Refresh the page.
3. Repeat the step 2.

Yeah, it appears that sometimes some of the games in the beginning of the list are missing or something? I think my first game (by title) should be "1954 Alcatraz" but sometimes it, along with some other games, are missing from the alphabetical list.

However, if I search for it in the search box with 1954, it is found, and also the total number of games doesn't change either between refreshes. Maybe some of the games on the view don't get displayed due to some http timeout or whatever?

An interesting bug...

EDIT 2: It seems it is reproducible also with other "sort by" settings, but it is easier for me to detect in the "title" setting for some reason.

I always have it on purchase date. I tried other sorts and it was still all over the shop. I just tried title now and it starts at 'C' and seems fine up til the last 18 remaining spots that are just random lol.
I'm so glad I've only got 60 odd games showing and not the whole 370.

Yes I can see the bug now too. The important thing though is that the number of games in your account is not changed between refreshes (THAT would be rather alarming), but this is still quite an annoying bug if you are browsing your game collection online, not knowing that not necessarily all games are displayed on the page. In such case you can find that Certain Game by just knowing its title and search for it in the search box.

I presume it is some kind of timeout problem (some of the title/picture retrievals fail and hence are not displayed), but who knows.
#MeToo....

Though only slightly, I think. I bought Tyranny a couple of days ago and it appears in my library (140 odd games) as if it was purchased about a year ago. Everything else seems in the right place, including Halcyon6 which I just bought.

Mine are sorted by purchase date. I did have look in my orders list and that was accurate, so the data for library positioning doesn't come from there.

As soon as I noticed my first thought was to check here. Nice to know I'm not alone. Not too worried, as most of these glitches tend to sort themselves out in a couple of hours. Mind you, I've also noticed that several different glitches in a short space of time usually means a sale is coming....

edit, just checked again and although Tyranny is back where it should be, the rest are all over the place. Look out for that sale...

It's mainly an annoyance for me because I haven't been here since june/july, and I've forgotten quite a bit about my later library purchases. I spent more time buying games than I did playing them, but I'm hoping to change that.
Ya it's happening to me too. Maybe it's a sign that they're adding back manual sorting.
I have a problem too. Suddenly my games are not on alphabetical order in my library. Weird.

Yes. Things moving around on their own accord indicates poltergeist activity. Contact Brother Carlos Oliveira ASAP.
gOg are trying to encourage you to take a second look at the long-forgotten games in your backlog. : )
It's not just the account pages, wishlists are buggered up too.

It will still look the same for me in that regard, it seems I almost always go back to the usual handful ones in my library. Good idea though :D
