Apparently someone has released Muckyfoot's Urban Chaos source code into Github. he licensed it under MIT

https://github.com/dizzy2003/MuckyFoot-UrbanChaos

Assets not included, though...

Also native widescreen (without using hacks).
Neat! I hope someone picks this up.
I never played it, so it has little interest to me.
sounds good.
I hope Stratopia will be next.
That's awesome news! Looking forward to what will hopefully be cooked up with it.
Oh wow, that's really cool. I did fire up my GOG copy a few years ago but the widescreen support was wonky and I couldn't complete the tutorial, I think the car section was buggy.
Was this actually done with Square Enix's permission? Would be sad to see this get yanked like Jedi Outcasts' code was.

Git Hub Page Owner and ex MF owner here. MF retained ownership of the IP and code (including trademark), Eidos had a license to publish on specific platforms, The MF directors purchased the MF IP's from the liquidators. So it should be safe.

And, who knows, implementation of a better movement system than tank controls!

Was a wonderful game, would love to tackle it again.
