THE GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.

Welcome back one and all to the revival of Mr.Mumble’s long-dormant, exciting and dizzying hall of curation! He likes a game you may like? Then get in line, friend. You must be this tall to ride. If not then be on your way! The kiddie rides are over there.

This giveaway has been a long time coming, as I’ve been buying gift copies of games here and there over the past months, but it’s not until now that I’ve decided to get this thing going again. This shall be the beginning of a bi-weekly giveaway that I plan to run for a while.

To kick things off, we’ll start with a double feature! One lucky bastard will walk away with a copy of Ultimate Doom & Doom II: the granddaddies of the modern FPS genre as we know it. Thankfully, they’re still a blast to play and the modding scene is about as vibrant as ever. The fun never ends thanks to communities such as Doomworld. So grab your shotgun and prepare to kick some demon ass!

How do you get a chance at winning these fabulous games? Why, completing my crossword puzzle and answering my question, of course! So tell me:

Who’s my favorite fascist? (This may or may not be a trick question)
All words in this particular puzzle are game titles available on GOG, which I've thoroughly enjoyed. As you can tell by the letter key I attached to this post, the answer to my question consists of 14 letters in order of the bolded numbers.

NO POSTING OF THE ANSWER IN THIS THREAD (or you shall be banned from this and any of my future giveaways). Send me your solution via chat, and if it’s correct I shall add you to the list of qualified entrants. Be careful though! You'll get only one shot. Your first answer is the only answer. Random.org will take it from there.

Get it? Got it? Good! Deadline for this contest will be on Sunday, Nov 5 @ 12PM PST. Good luck everyone and have fun!

My requirement for entries are:
You must want the game for yourself. No entering on another's behalf or re-gifting of codes.

I already have the games, so not in. But thank you for the riddly giveaway!
Grrr! Some of us happen to be short.

Good thing I am not interested in more Doom.

Sure, no problem. But let's see if Napoleon over there is going to agree...

Thank you for the giveaway. Even though Doom is not really my kind of game, solving the crossword was fun. I'm already looking forward to the next one. :)

(Not in for this round.)

What's wrong with you? Everybody knows Swedes are towering giants! =P

Uhmm, I just may not look like the stereo-typical northern European. Dang all these people moving around in the world. :-)
Not in, but nice GA with puzzles!
Sadly, I'm crap at crosswords, expecially in a foreign language XD

Hopefully you're at least blonde (or red haired). Otherwise we'll have to confiscate your Viking plundering license!

NFSCD: for a thread where it is mentioned in the title, this thread has far too little seals in it! Let's fix that!

Bumpity bump.
I thought I spoke English, but those are kind of befuddling, starting with the first question.

I read Animal Farm in high school and I don't recall any S&M scenes.

It's not referring to any book, but a game; just like all the others.
...and bump.

Talking about mods in my initial post, there's some fun ones to be had for sure. The Blade of Agony standalone is fantastic. Looking forward to Episode 3. The Japanese Community Project was pretty decent with some really "interesting" level designs.

Ooh, there's another very nice mod I recently discovered. (It's very telling that I haven't played that many Doom mods until a short while ago... *shrug* Oh well, as long as I'm having fun. ;)) It's Pirate Doom! Arrrr!

I haven't played it yet, but I'm also curious to give the Mega Man mod a try. That should be interesting.

...and bump again.

I know I get less responses because I require people to actually put a little effort into entering my giveaways, but this is a bit silly. So far I've only had one person send in an answer ( it was correct, too), and he wasn't even looking to win the games. =/

I don't mean this as a criticism, but I spent about 15 minutes on it, both before and after you pointed out these were about games.

I honestly had no idea on any of them (one rang the vaguest of bells, maybe), and googling didn't go anywhere, so I'm not clear what other type of effort I would have applied in proceeding, speaking just for myself.

I did a crossword giveaway myself at some point, and it's a fine balance. It's hard to grade one's own crosswords, b/c you already know the answers, so they seem obvious. ;)

That may very well be true. =/

In that case, I suppose a few hints are in order:
- He is not a penitent man. He has no remorse.
- Your friendly neighborhood animal farm S&M can only be found in Toontown.
- Industrial espionage requires a covert agent to be invisible.
- Abusing hedgehogs is the MO of wacky drivers.
- She does not suffer from moral dilemmas since she has gained control of the system.
