Look around you. Do you see a perfect rectangular arrangement of books/boxes/clothes/... in your room?
Maybe with a nice grayish underlay? No, you don't. And you wouldn't feel at home anyway if it were so.
Therefore the new grayish, clean game shelf must only be temporary. It must soon be replaced by something people like to look at.
