He never said he bought them "by mistake", he said the games were a mistake. He bought and found out that he prefers the steam client, so buying them here
was a mistake. For him at least.
I don't know what you mean by "legit" in this context. Being legit, whatever that means, doesn't mean it wasn't irritating as well. I personally would find "Did you even look at your cart before you hit buy?" irritating too because in absolutely no way it helps him solve his problem.
That aside, GOG offers refunds on games not downloaded, even if you spent hours looking at them in your cart. I'd be pissed to if no refund is given in two weeks. Sale, Witcher 3 or Galaxy, and a poor ticket system is no excuse for such support. If money back guarantee is one of your selling points, then make sure you actually make it easy for people to avail of it. Do something properly or not at all.
