I don't think subjectivity it a valid reason for money back, especially if you already downloaded it.

What is the game?
I doubt it since you've already downloaded it and it works.

Yeah, just state (politely) the game was not what you were expecting and ask either for store credit or wallet funds.
that will probably work.

but it is Saturday so you will likely not hear back from GOG support until monday. so be patient.

That horrible game is called Banished. and yes, i asked for a refund to my wallet.
Erase my copy from my library and send an update to galazy to disable the game.
Change of mind is not grounds for a refund

Do your research next time
BANISHED IS AWESOME!!!

IT'S BEYOND AWESOME!!!

I personally really enjoyed Banished. It's quite limited in scope, but I found it wonderfully atmospheric, with almost contemplative game-play, yet also quite a challenge (especially at first) to try and balance all its many variables. Just when you think you're doing well, you discover that you're looking at a population explosion and that your people aren't nearly as effective without tools, so maybe you should've invested in that mine a bit earlier, or...

Anyway, could you attempt to express what is it you find so horrible about it? (I doubt I'll be able to change your mind, but just maybe we can help you see the game in a different light. Worth a shot, at least.)

That's the problem.
I might be wrong but I think refunds are only possible for technical issues, if you dislike it that's another issue but a non refundable one.

You probably won't get a reply until monday anyways
Unresponsive ai with a will of they own, very rough learning curve.

I'd call the first a feature of the game, although it certainly can be frustrating to see your people marching toward their certain doom instead of getting this one resource which they really need for survival. As for the learning curve: Figuring out how to keep your people alive really is the game (or at least its main point). There's several negative feedback loops which can trip you up, meaning that you'll have to plan quite far ahead (or see just how nimble your instructions can be in order to barely squeak by). Save frequently, and if you've spiraled out of control, jump back to see where you went wrong. The in-game help files are worth perusing for some hints about the various parameters for your buildings. Keen observation of your villagers' actions also helps a lot with figuring out how to optimize placement of your buildings and thus the efficiency of your food production.

While waiting for support to get back to you, why not give it another try on easy? Some hints: Villagers reproduce more swiftly when they have empty buildings to move in to, so to keep your population levels under control, it's entirely acceptable to limit housing. And keep the walking route of your average citizen (from house to work to food storage) as short as possible.

It really can be a very satisfying feeling to have your village running smoothly, and its difficulty just makes the accomplishment even more worthwhile.
I guess i was looking for a more relaxed fameplay instead of a brain challenge, you know something to play while lisening to podcast and such, i have one setller game that i will give a try but i was looking for a city bulding game with no fighting just survival.
Anyway thanks for the tips and help, regardless if Gog gives money back or not.

So far, I haven't had much combat in "Cultures, 8th wonder of the world". Combat is implemented, but doesn't seem to take a major place. Just saying.
This just made me want to play Banished again.
