It needs some polish, but for what it was it was decent....now if only they could fix the bugs(like the picking up notes/cards bug which causes some to not add any new notes to your journal) and make a sequel.

Yeah I heard stories why the game was bad because it was abit incomplete
and was rush out. maybe it would been better if it was completed?

I heard the Kiss Game uses the Blood 2 engine as well

Kinda wish there was a source port for both games even for No one lives forever

The game is "complete" in that it has an ending....it is just lackluster and akin to the endings of Elite Force 1/2 in blandness, and it has some bugs. Other than that it is pretty good for a game promoting a band's music.

As for NOLF....I would rather have a competent sequel and completion the the cliffhanger of NOLF2.

Yeah I know, but I heard it was incomplete, like it was rushed to be "complete" in it's state,
so it post to have more features.

That's kinda why the game seems to be like there's is a few things missing,
like the ending cut scene was goofy.

Kinda wish if there was ever a source port for Blood 2, Kiss and NOLF in One.
Well for Kiss, Mod the gameplay could be better or more like Quake 3 style, and let the weapons have 2nd attacks,
and more useful power-up items. and make certain weapons more useful and powerful for certain characters.

Example for Star Bearer his weapons the Thornblade, Zero Canon and Star Gaze does more damage for him
and have special attacks only for him,
So ever hero got 2nd special unique attacks for their theme weapons.

A NOLF HD Remaster of both games and a 3rd game would be nice.

1st bit: Still, they could've made a less ambiguous ending that didn't leave it open ended even with limited time/money/etc. To me it's like they wanted to make another game but they chose not to for some reason(lack of sales on the second one perhaps, or something else).

2nd bit: And make those large bat swarms easier to kill with other weapons besides 1 or 2 of them.

3rd bit: This 100%

Yeah a cliff hanger isn't always a good thing. not if there was post to be a expansion pack?
Speaking of expansion packs, kinda wish Kiss psycho circus had one like about The Fox and The Ankh Warrior.

Yeah kinds sucks it didn't got a massive mods made back then
only maps and skin swaps and alot of those are "lost media" or not easy to find
like fileplanet isn't the same anymore.

yeah standing around killing bats a few of a time is meh...
you need like the final weapon for them.

Yeah, that reminds me of this so so Wolfenstein/Blake Stone style adventure called Chub's Game 3D......it was made by some random guy and only on his site and I played it once and for years I couldn't fina a copy as his site was gone. Same with this old adventure game(ags) series called Rob Blanc(1-3). That's also hard to find.

I would if I remembered the original site url or any that hosted it. It was a good game from what seemed to be an individual developer making it for free on his own time.....sadly I lost my copies of it and backups over the years as i'd host it myself for others to play if I could.
