Why does the Midweek sale end of a Saturday?

Is it just a typo or I wonder if they're planning something special?

UPDATE: It doesn't look like a typo, since the countdown timer on the promo page is less than 3 days.

They always are timed to end on a weekend atleast early on the weekend but still late enough to buy also weekend sales at the same time as the midweek sales..

More or less as I am a common buyer of games on sale here the midweek sales they often last like till 6am to 12 pm on Saturday atleast for where I'm at and those I usualy wake for all three regular weekly sales going before buying games just encase
