Everybody scream, everybody scream, let the midweek sale begin!

There are games that tickle your funny bone, games that make your trigger finger itch, and games that make all shadows look like the last thing you'll ever see. Or wanted to see.

This sale is full of shadows. Some are shaped like unholy creatures, like VtM: Bloodlines, Darkwood, Dead Space or Clive Barker's Undying. Some look human but make you wish they didn't, like Outlast, Remothered, Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers. Then there are those who make your skin crawl in ways you can't quite explain, like The Count Lucanor, SOMA, The Coma: Recut, and Dark Fall 3: Lost Souls.

Take your pick. If you dare.

The Midweek Horror Sale ends February 2nd, 11 PM UTC.

orbus-petrus: Yes I would also like to see some newer EA titles, like Dead Space 2 & 3, Crysis 2 & 3, Medal of Honor 2010 and Warfighter and such.

But don't have high hopes...
Especially, Dead Space 2 & 3, Crysis 2 & 3 and Dragon Age 2 & 3!

And I do have high hopes :)

HypersomniacLive: Soooo, why does STASIS Deluxe Edition still not show as owned when one has STASIS and STASIS Deluxe Edition Upgrade?
Yup, this is also one of my annoyance with GOG store card. Fix it please!

You know guys, I don´t know if they ever gonna fix it, because "it´s a feature" kinda - when they put new game into the system and that game has following versions:
Base game
upgrade to Deluxe Edition
Deluxe Edition

It´s really 3 different items, so of course it´s gonna mark the 3rd as not owned. Even though there is logical connection for us, humans, there´s no logical connection for their system.

If they would make a script which would mark all the other things as owned, just because you own them, it might be prone to break and it might create more work for them than it´s worth:
- what happens when company announces new, more definite version of their game (Super Deluxe Edition), which contains Deluxe Edition AND some thing more? (Divinity 2 Director´s Cut comes to mind)
- what if they will decide to add a new thing as an optional update, even for free (let´s say soundtrack, but they don´t want to have it bundled with the base game for some reason)?
-Kickstarter versions have entirely different versions - it might happened that game you own is displayed as not owned, because you do not own any of those versions for general public (there might/might not be some things extra/different in your account than those for non-KS buyers) - this happened to me with several games!

I guess it might be done, but that´s precisely the reason why I am always vary during the sales and I skim through the un-owned games, just to see whether there´s actually a game I own listed as not-owned.

Tarhiel: ....
I'm quite aware that it has a potential to break things. The thing is, when I bought the deluxe edition, the base and the upgrade automatically marked as "In Library". But not vice versa like when I bought Valhalla Hills Upgrade . Again it was a minor annoyance on my side

But on the library, the game card will not explicitly shown what edition you already have. Only the game title.

Actually it's not that hard when you have a proper database structure. You just need an association which product contains which other products. Of course it has to be maintained, but that's not different from adding a new DLC or soundtrack and telling the system which base game is required to purchase that DLC or soundtrack.

If you say so, I won´t say anything in contrary :)
Then I guess it´s doable, but retrofitting those titles which they already released might be a pain + there might be a risk they will accidentally disappear from someone´s account and that might be, from business standpoint, too great a risk even for this feature.

But I do agree that it would be cool if they would have it.
