Falran: Hey everyone
Just wanted you to know that we are aware that some of you are experiencing launching/crashing difficulties with Metro 2033.
The appropriate team is currently investigating this further and indeed boiled it down to potentially problematic PhysX libraries.
We are planning to release a hotfix by Friday.
Until then I hope that the following might be helpful:
https://support.gog.com/hc/articles/36163450725661 Should any of you be still experiencing any difficulties, please note that any unusual settings on your machine e.g. high DPI setups could interfere with the game.
If things are still challenging don't hesitate to drop us a line and we will do our best to help:
https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us I am "waiting on the line" myself in case I can help any of you further.
Cheers.
I think you can answer, for example, when you stop lying about Dragon Age Classic, which you simply posted as a different preservation build (the original classic version is still available only with Galaxy, isn't that DRM?). Your excuses for not supporting older versions are especially funny, falran, although we're not talking about support, but simply about restoring the normal version you deleted.
Or we can talk about problems with other games you don't care about. For example, The Witcher 1, which has a similar problem, 20 fps on two CPU cores, and which no one has addressed yet.
