Celebrate Star Wars™ day with two massive bundles offering discounts up to 77% off

Most people consider the lightsaber as the defining element of the Star Wars™ universe but for every aspiring Jedi out there, there is a space cowboy who prefers the thrill of a dogfight behind the cockpit of his battered X-Wing. This is a galaxy of infinite possibilities, so why not have both? With discounts up to 77%, the Blaster Bundle and Saber Bundle are truly the deals you are looking for. Pick them up now, you must.

The X-Wing vs Tie-Fighter dogfights are at the heart of the Blaster Bundle but shooting stormtroopers and watching the story unfold in those sweet FMV cutscenes make Rebel Assault 1 + 2 an equally fun experience. Binary choices are the building blocks of the Star Wars™ mythos and Rebellion gives players the rare opportunity to flex their strategic muscles as they either organize the Alliance or expand the Empire.

The Saber Bundle can barely contain the timeless conflicts between Jedi Knight™ - Jedi Outcast, Dark Forces, and Republic Commandos. But thousands of years before all that, the galaxy was shaped by the thrilling adventures of Knights of the Old Republic, who soon went on to become Star Wars™ legends in the eyes of all RPG fans. Thanks in no small part to that mind-boggling plot twist halfway through the original game and the powerful villain reveal in the sequel.

Return to a galaxy far far away and smuggle back the Blaster Bundle, going for 58% off, and the Saber Bundle, going for 77% off. Mixed feelings here, now I must spend money, but it will be good. :)
You might want to know about the timing problems of the DOS version which causes capital ships and station not to fire their lasers. Sadly it's not possible to reproduce the original experience via DOSbox emulation:

Still, enjoy the games!

skeletonbow: As a massive fan of the Star Wars flight combat sim games of the 90s, I can vouch for what others have said above. Both X-Wing and TIE Fighter originally shipped with one version of the game on GOG when it launched here, however based on customer feedback requests GOG and Disney brought the other versions of each game at a later date and now both games include all 3 versions of the games that existed in the 90s. Everyone has their favourite version of the game for their own reasons and now we have all of the versions.

In addition to that, the X-Wing Alliance last time I checked says that it does not support multiplayer, however other gamers have confirmed to me that it does in fact support Direct-IP multiplayer which works although I have not yet had the opportunity to personally verify that, but multiple people confirmed it so I trust them.

In short, the 4 Star Wars X-Wing/TIE Fighter games on GOG are the full set including all released versions in their full glory. When you buy either of the first two games, each one of them puts 3 games on your shelf reflecting the original floppy version, the CDROM version, and the Windows remake.

If you've read or heard otherwise in the forums or elsewhere, whatever information you read may have been correct on the date it was written, but it is no longer correct as it was enhanced over time to include everything, and I believe the store pages do state what all is included in the game at the moment. The only inaccuracy I'm aware of is like I said above with Alliance claiming no multiplayer when it does have multiplayer.

I've attached a screenshot of my Galaxy library showing the titles for clarity also.

Hope this helps.

What, you prefer old pixelated Star Wars games with FM synthesized music over No Man's Sky????
