That was not my intention at all. Town consists of test subjects, the lightning rod tree stump is a distraction placed by GLaDOS.

I think the lesson here is that as far as themes go, 80s cartoons are definitely a bigger draw for newbies than weird mafia community in-jokes. Who would have guessed?

I was thinking that the Town is all different types of cake, but I'm not sure how that would work.
