[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

That being said, here you can find a post with dxenija's community poll to have better understanding of the situation: CLICK.

At the time of writing, open giveaway threads are:
- Massive Giveaways Blog (this one)
- Free (temporary) keys giveaway central topic.
- Updated Itch.io giveaways

Be nice to each other *flies away*

action_fan: There are some reports that Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition becomes available for standard version owners on Steam.
I can confirm. the Ultimate Ed has suddenly appeared in my library.

me too
The Dragon Age : Origins DLC bundle is also free on ORIGIN if you own the base game, bringing it to the Ultimate Edition since all the other DLC has been free in the past and still is.

So, it doesn't matter if you own it on Steam or on Origin.

Just saying.
Bioware made all dlc from Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age Origins and Dragon age 2 available for free a few month ago when they removed the Bioware coin ( i forgot the name but you could buy dlc only with those coin and it was very expensive for games that old).

Does this say what the money is going to? I can give some to Syria (and Turkey) but I refuse to give itch a cent.

Pouyou-pouyou: Dungeon of the Endless and a DLC free at Amplitude : https://community.amplitude-studios.com/profile/me/rewards
I suppose this is over by now? I just joined that site & linked with Steam, but don't see how to get Dungeon of the Endless

Looks like origin.com now redirects to ea, and the search there is terrible.
While I could assure I have Dragon Age: Origins in the transcations list,
I couldn't find any way to get the DLC page(s), just the main - where it offers me to buy it again (though I am connected)
https://www.ea.com/games/dragon-age/dragon-age-origins
I suppose one needs the app installed to add the Free DLCs?

I assume one must have ORIGIN installed then. I do. Therefore in my game library under Dragon Age: Origins / DLC I found the Origins DLC Bundle marked Free. I had already owned all the other DLC since they were given away a while back. Yet, they also are marked as Free still. So, I imagine yes, you must have the game installed on ORIGIN. Funny thing is, I also got the base game free a few years back when they gave that away as well.

Edit : Here is a list of what I got for free prior to the DLC Bundle which just became free also :

DRAGON ARMOR
FEASTDAY GIFTS
FEASTDAY PRANKS
GOLEMS OF AMGARRACK
LELIANA'S SONG
PROMOTION PACK
RETURN TO OSTAGAR
THE DARKSPAWN CHRONICLES
THE STONE PRISONER
WARDEN'S KEEP
WITCH HUNT

You can download manual installation files for all the free classic EA DLC without an account from here:
https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/

These work fine with CD/DVD versions of the games and they're supposed to work with Steam versions too.

They warn that they might cause conflict with Origin versions though, and that you should download those through the EA app.

Edit:

You can also download EA game extras without an account from here:
https://www.ea.com/en-au/games/ea-downloadable-extras

And if you have old EA games on CD/DVD, you can download SecuROM De-Authorization Tools from here:
https://activate.ea.com/deauthorize/
