[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

That being said, here you can find a post with dxenija's community poll to have better understanding of the situation: CLICK.

At the time of writing, open giveaway threads are:
- Massive Giveaways Blog (this one)
- Free (temporary) keys giveaway central topic.
- Updated Itch.io giveaways

Be nice to each other *flies away*

philipp_chris: Just a reminder, that Immortals Fenyx Rising is "live now" for registering to your account, on the web and on the Ubisoft Connect

MaxFulvus: According to its Pcgamingwiki page, the game has 2 DRM (3 if you count the Ubi client) : Denuvo and VMProtect.

johannesjidl: Welp, since there is no standard way to "buy" a game from Ubisoft without actually downloading it... snip.
Actually Not. I never ever installed the Ubi Launcher. Anywhere. And I do have games there.
It took a couple of tries while being logged in on the web, including actually downloading the launcher, but did not need to download the actual game.
And it is available and working on Geforce Now - so you can spare your PC from Denuvo and VMProtect Malware

It doesn't work via a web browser, you need to go through Ubisoft Connect.
Can confirm. Need to add it through the Connect app. Feels sketchy.

Ubisoft is such a clown company. I can't log in, bcause it takes them 8 minutes to send the security code. Which unfortunately is only valid for four minutes. Will try again later.

While I was able to Actually Play Fenyx via GN (,aka Geforce Now) beforeso, I can confirm that only after "registering" the game via the link above, it actually got listed in the X games owned on my Ubi profile.
It still only shows 5 games for me, eventhough I have over 20 (including 2 Rayman games I was running through GN - so that is definetly not a way to make a game listed).
While I have no idea what it means for a game to appear there, it will make it easier to spot if it gets removed...

PaterAlf, not sure where you set that security code sending option, I don't recall having sent one by ubi
(though it does take a long time to login via that page, so I first login via www.ubisoft.com & then followed the link)

This is me and has been an ongoing problem for decades.
Their reset password email back then would also never arrive. Or was that EA?

That was Origin with the old pre-EA accounts. I also recall you couldn't change your e-mail address even though the free e-mail provider I had used to sign up with folded.

I was able to claim the game in time before the offer expires in 2 hours or so.
