"Some games on GOG have content notifications on their store pages to let users know about missing features that can be found in the Steam version of the game. Spelunky, Ironclad Tactics, and Brutal Legend are three examples of this. Unfortunately, this notification is usually buried in the game's description, and in all three examples listed requires users to click "Read more" for the notification to even appear because of how far down in the description it is.

If someone is already familiar with a game, they are unlikely to read the description, and thus unlikely to see this important notification. It also doesn't help that the content notice blends in with the rest of the description, not really standing out in any way. This is a problem, because it can lead to users buying games and then getting an unpleasant surprise when features are missing.

My suggestion is to simply make content notifications more noticeable. It should really stand out and get the user's attention, and should be clearly visible without having to go out of your way to look for it. Additionally, there should be a very clear warning when checking out with a game that has a content notice on its store page to make sure that all users are notified even if they buy the game without checking the store page first."
