xSinghx: The difference with 2015 as oppossed to other years is the rarity drop system. Previous years you simply won games to unlock cards which was a grind in itself (1/20, 2/20, etc). As of 2015 this grind is even larger as you rely on chance and rarity. So yes it's a pay system and yes it is more of a grind to unlock cards than before. It's also ethically questionable as people paying to unlock cards may not realize the limited lifespan DOTP has year to year. If you like that kind of skinner box design (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWtvrPTbQ_c) that's fine. A lot of people don't. I'm simply one of them. I don't find that aspect to be well designed or of much value to the player (obviously - it's value is to the developers). It's also antagonistic to the 'casual' style of the game.
In fact its not that hard to unlock cards and you dont need to grind that much, because once you have 4 of a kind, the boosters fill with the other cards, so to get all the cards you always have to do the same ammount of matches and not really tooo many of them. I am more or less a casual player now and got all cards in 15-20 hrs of playtime, my overall playtime isnt that much more. Heavy grinding is way different.

now if only Gog could get the Microprose Magic: The gathering game including the two expansions.

I liked the single player Shandalar world walking around fighting random encounters, getting better cards as drops and then dungeon crawling to get a good enough deck to challenge the strong wizards.

And yet the way the system is set up it still requires more grinding than previous years thus the incentive to buy packs. How hard you feel it is - is subjective.

There is no argument to make so please stop you are making pointless replies.
