Installed Lost Horizon 2 just kb and mouse no pad got to options screen and all sound levels are at zero i set the levels but they return to zero when the game is restarted, control mappings shows a mix of kb controls and pad buttons with no pad connected these are all in the primary control list there is nothing in the secondary control list.

Managed to map a few keys but they do nothing and the escape key won't work so stuck on the options page and have to alt/ctrl/del to close the game I've tried the usual GOG support fixes but still doesn't work anyone had these issues?

It's a point and click adventure... what kind of control options are you expecting?

I see it says controller support on the store page so I guess it should have some kind of support, but I can't imagine it being good to play that way if it's a real point and click adventure.

I was expecting the option that it would work as I said only a kb and mouse are connected but the game won't respond to any keys and remapping some keys makes no difference also the sound controls are at zero and return to zero if turned up and the game is restarted there is obviously something wrong anyway I returned the game as I've spent enough time trying to get it to work.

Hmmm, that sounds like it wasn't able to write configuration files. What path did you have it installed in?
I remember playing that at release and it's a buggy game iirc, couldn't even interact with a phone to progress the quest..
Loved the first game though.
