Hello. I'm a veteran gamer who started in the video arcade era. I don't miss the primitive graphics of early games. They were fun, but repetitive. With some exceptions, 'Empire Earth I', 'Ultima 3&4', Atari's StarRaiders, quake I, doom 1, and others.
I don't have the reflexes of 16 year old anymore. However, my tactical skills are somewhere between master and grand master. Not that can't hold my own in most older FPS games. The newer games like the 'The Witcher' series and 'Command and Conquer Generals - Zero Hour' test my tactical skills.
'STYX: Master of Shadows' is more about tactics than reflexes. It pushes my skills to the limit. Learning the moves and tactics as a play. Still can't get the mercy badge or the finish under a time limit. Usually, I have to kill at 30% to get past a section and it takes 2-3 times or more than the time limit for a level.
This is first time through it. Repeated one level to get +40 exp.
Lots of FPS games have greatly improved my driving skills. Accidents me? Near zero. ;)
