I'm looking for a Harvest Moon type game for PC. Preferably one that is complete or nearly so.

The only three I know of are World's Dawn, Stardew Valley, and Wild Season.

Are there any other games of this type out there?

In all likelyhood, you won't find anything unless you emulate.

I too love the Harvest Moon series.
Wish I could offer some direction, but if you know about the games you listed, chances are you know more than I do.

There's a indie game called Farm for your live but it has some zombie defense thing going... But yeah, emulator would be best answer (HM Friends of Mineral Town would suffice).

Stardew Valley has so slow development. It's not even out yet despite it's been greenlighted many months ago. =\

Harvest Moon. Every time someone mentions it, someone else downloads an emulator and rom and plays it again.

The snes and N64 versions were my most beloved. Find the emulator, get the roms and enjoy in your pc. You won't even feel its a console. Such is the power of the pc. Eventually, ALL games can run on it regardless where they come from.

I'm pretty sure Natsume has that down on lock. The problem being that its a niche game sold on niche systems apparently. (Much to everyone's chagrin.)

I think I saw something somewhere on Steam that looked a bit FarmVillesque but , presumably, not constantly badgering for micropayments Hmmm...

This makes me sad knowing there isn't much to offer on PC as far as Harvest Moon style games go i'll keep my eyes on Stardew Valley though thanks.

This is the new name for the series that was called Harvest Moon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Story_of_Seasons
The new games being released under the Harvest Moon name aren't actually anything to do with Bokujo Monogatari.

Here's another one that has obvious Harvest Moon inspirations (farming, upgrade house/farm, marriage, fishing, town parties, etc.)

Our Love Will Grow

It was featured in the IndieGameStand PWYW BTA tier a little while back. I've tried it out, but only for about 15 minutes or so to get a basic feel for the presentation. I couldn't really say how well it compares yet since I just took a really brief glance, other than it will probably take a bit more time to get into and it didn't immediately hook me after 15 minutes. Sorry, not much of an impression I know, but it doesn't start off with a "knock yer socks off" bang that compelled me to get instantly hooked -- of course, it might do so within 30 minutes of gameplay but I have't gotten there yet. :)

I'd like to give it another shot, but just my time has been stretched by too many other things at the moment and this one seems like more of a slow burner / time consumer.
