Good salesmanship though, smooth! I always kinda envy people ready to pounce like this.

Bottom of the checkout page, this bit, "By placing the order, you agree to the GOG.com User Agreement and confirm that you are currently located in"

GOG got its location detection wrong. This happens sometimes. Put anything in the cart, go to the checkout page, and it'll run the detection again with more accuracy, almost certainly getting it right this time, allowing you to change to PLN again.
Alternatively, delete the gog_lc cookie (In Firefox: F12, storage, cookies) and reload.

No idea, probably US since that is the only currency i can see.
