Your exchange rates seem to be a little outdated, but, thanks for letting us know up front. Keep doing that, please.
GOG is going expansive each day it passes.
I only pay in USDorra anyway, so...
i wonder if this will ever be adjusted back down….

You can't. All you can do is edit it.
And now we are one step closer to 1$ = 1€ exchange rate.
With this pace we would get it at the beginning of new year:)

Er, no we aren't. They only adjusted to the current exchange rate, they didn't make one up Valve-style. XE.com tells me the current rate is 9.99 $ = 7.92 Euros.
(For reference, if I want to pay in US$, Paypal currently wants me to pay 8.19 Euros.)

Don't worry, this is just temporary. Though I wouldn't mind to have 1$ = 1euros (in real life, not just steam and co.) but it won't happen imho.
Well people are forgetting that all the EURO prices increased for all the games and so the regional priced games became also more expensive. Most prices increased about 0.60€. Example: Meridian New World yesterday 8.99€ today 9.59€. Wasteland 2 Deluxe was 45€ and now is 47.59€.

If you want to buy a regional priced game you'll still have to pay more than US citizens.

sunshinecorp: Has anyone else noticed how the word "free" is becoming dirtier by the second the past few years? :D
It's certainly been misused. There's nothing "free market" about government-sanctioned central banks printing money (devaluing their own currencies) and manipulating interest rates (which then strongly influences so much else, including exchange rates). Especially when the US Fed is (and I would imagine most central banks are) nothing more than a public facade for a banking cartel granted special powers by bought-off politicians.

Don't confuse currency conversion with regional pricing and don't compare a regional priced game to a currency converted game please. ;)

But consider that PayPal has their own currency exchange rates, which are always more expensive than the "official" exchange rates (on which GoG bases their prices) - PayPal wants to earn money with transactions you do with them after all, that's what they live on.

Im not comparing them - im just saying that cause of the currency issues all the eu prices for all the games on gog increased that is all and I know that isn't gog's fault its just heavy currency fluctuation. And regional priced games cost now again a lot more then before. For me 1 or 2 euros change is a big difference - and again the reason for that currency fluctuation that results in a price increase. If we did not have all of these local currencys nobody would even notice this.
