When did GOG start supporting Chinese Yuan?
Even after all these years, there is one thing I never understood. Why are gog's prices rooted in US$? Company is in Poland, bank in Cyprus.

Because it's a very recognisable standard. Everyone knows dollars, most of their customers are probably in the USA so it makes sense to base prices off the dollar.

Actually: Registered in Cyprus, Offices in Poland and payment processor in England. I don't think asking devs to set their game base price in Polish zloty would work that well.

Okay, learned something today! Still doesn't answer the initial question.

Because most of the companies making games are based in the US, or have a sales base in the US.

Because we are the only country that matters and everyone wants to be like us. With our orange imbecile president and our outdated obsolete law systems!

Oh, does that mean the sale is nigh?

That makes sense. If they have to pay the IP holders in US$, they avert some risk by calculating prices in US$.

Are you sure you are a real US American? Most don't notice the obsolete law system.

Well, it's "only" bad news for AUD, NOK, CAD and BRL. For the rest of currencies it's quite good news indeed! (and Russians don't care :P)
