In 2018 the user Desmight created a thread which listed all games on GOG that had the feature of in-game achievements, meaning games in which you will be able to get achievements even if you don't use Galaxy or another client. Those achievements are independent from any client and you can access an achievement list from inside the game as well. I liked the idea and so did quite a few others and in time quite a few games were added to the list.

Unfortunately recently Desmight decided to stop hosting the thread and supporting the list due to personal reasons. I wish him all the best and since he allowed others to continue his list I decided to do exactly this. Because of GOGs old and broken forum I transfered the list into a google spreadsheet though since it is more easy to support and it does not have an actual limit as well. So I hope you all won't mind me continuing this and that you will all continue to post games with in-game achievements so that I can add them to the list.

the following games may have in-game achievements: "Rusty Lake Hotel" "Rusty Lake Paradise" and "Rusty Lake: Roots".
As i do not own those games I can only provide hints.
If someone who owns those games could kindly confirm, this would be appreciated.
So in working together we may are able to determine, if the games belong to the list or not.

So it´s save to say: Rusty Lake Paradise does have in-game achivements.

For "Rusty Lake Hotel" and "Rusty Lake: Roots" i can only guess:

"Roots" includes...well "Roots". :-)
For "Roots" you can unlock a total of 16 different achievements on Steam. So i would assume that those "Roots" are the same achievements that can get unlocked in client (?).
Unfortunately i was not able to find an screenshot from an game menu/option or an achievements overview, so as said before: if someone could provide details (screenshots etc.) on "Roots" and also for "Hotel", this would be very helpful.

In the old thread there were sometimes discussions about whether a specified game actually had in-game achievements (or not) - because the way in which it was implemented was questionable or because the given informations weren´t helpful. Screenshots & / or videos help you judge whether the game can be added to the list or not.
few words on how i "research" for this topic (this is also valid for my entries to the old thread in the past):
if i own the game i provide screenhot(s) from in-game that clearly shows the menu option (eq. trophy) and also the menu (with the overview for achievements) itself.
if i do not own the game i am trying to find screenshots and/or (youtube-) videos that proof, that there are in-game achievements implemented.
tbh imho it´s not helpful to just write an message (in this very thread) with just the game title and no other information.

@Paraharaha: I've added a new column "notes" to the list which I used to point out that Rusty Lake Roots and Rusty Lake Hotel have not been confirmed yet. Is this a solution you can live with?

I am so very sad people keep forgetting about The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has in game achievements and in game stats saying how many enemy NPC's you killed, etc.

It's not forgotten - it's just added ;)
