ZFR: Thanks.
Treasure, you might want to remove it from the GOGmix.

Also, I've put the Trine 2 manual up here: (the link in the GOGmix is an ftp with a suspicious "torrent" in its name)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/358bxa36yfg19sa/Manual_English.pdf
Huh, I'd swear there wasn't a manual for Trine 1 when I created my gogmix and put the game there, but that was back in December so it probably got added in the meanwhile. The version gog provides however is the steam one, which is of worse quality than the other links I gave, these ones:
Better looking manuals:

http://img.metaboli.fr/products/trine/en/user_manual.pdf
http://img.metaboli.fr/products/trine/user_manual.pdf -French version

I post these links here since I'll remove the gogmix entry (from the moment gog does give the manual), just in case someone will want something better than the Word-document quality of the manual gog gives.

I also indeed changed the link to the manual of Trine 2 (I should have reuploaded it myself but I found out about pdf-archive on January, that is after I had linked to Trine 2's manual, so I probably kind of forgot).
Anyways, thanks again! :-)

edit-I also own the game myself, but since you got the info from moonshineshadow before I logged in, guess I should thank her too...

Thanks, I'll add those links to my list then, since the quality is clearly superior (I've already done it for Might and Magic 1, which is available on GOG but of wordpad quality with no illustrations).

Is there a similar good quality manual available for Trine 2? The one linked by the Gogmix is of a plain wordpad type too.

I haven't found a good-quality manual of Trine 2 so far (maybe it is kind of more hidden though). Btw, I think the good-quality manuals I linked to were made in the 1st place because that game might have had a boxed edition. So if Trine 2 ever got a boxed edition, there might be a better manual for that one too. I might try later to find out if there ever was a boxed edition of Trine 2 and you can add this question to your questions section too.

edit- Google's image section seems to indicate there indeed was a boxed release of Trine 2 in Europe at least but how wide its distribution was and whether it included a manual at all is another story...

Thank you. I'll add it to the list of questions.

ZFR:
The very same Trine 2 manual that you have uploaded in your DropBox account is also included in the installation folder of the Steam version, but not the Humble one. The GOG version, apparently, doesn't have it, but this post was over 2 years ago and it might have changed since then. I can't personally confirm it as I don't have the game here.

By the way, Quake: The Offering only has a pdf manual for the base game. The two expansions (Scourge of Armagon and Dissolution of Eternity) do offer a manual (after installation), but only in plain text form.

Thanks. Added. When you say "after installation" you mean somewhere in the installation folder, right? Also, I suppose the physical copy did come with an actual manual? The ebay copies seem to show there was a kind of booklet in the CD case.

The manual for the basegame of Quake is also in Wordpad-plaintext form btw (since I own the game, I just checked in the extras) -and its also the same as the one Steam links to. I'll add the information you just gave regarding the expansions and I might even try to find better quality manuals for Quake and its expansions and link to them either in the gogmix or this thread -depending on the character limit space I'll have left...

edit-if high quality pdf manuals are available, they sure are hidden (as I've only found the same kind of manual gog has for the moment). I'll keep looking later...

At the very least, it seems that Scourge of Armagon does come with one. Also, the plain text files have all the resemblance of a manual that was made back in the 90s, but they are just a text file.

No, they are worse. At least, Quake's manual does have a picture or two. The manuals for the expansions are nothing more than .txt files.

Thanks for those infos -adjusted the relevant entry accordingly.
Btw I think I found said manual made in the 90s for the basegame (that is it does have better quality), but its in French:

We can safely assume there was an English version then too. If as you say the one GOG provides is not of this quality, I'll add the info to the list too.

GOG's version is the same one as Steam's.

ZFR: Book of Unwritten Tales 2
• Missing manual. Replacement available here.
You might want to modify the entry to note that the manual can also be obtained by purchasing the Almanac Edition here.
avatar
ZFR: Tropico 5
• Missing manual. Replacement available here (thanks to Walt from Kalypso Media forums).
The manual is also available here if you buy the Complete Edition upgrade (though strangely enough, it doesn't seem to be available for the Complete Edition bundle. Probably an oversight).

Hmmm... It has most of the illustrations, the only thing missing is mainly the front page and background image. Still, I'll keep this on the replacement missing page too, in case someone can provide a scanned version.

Could anyone confirm what kind of manual does Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes come with? It's included in the GOGmix, but the store page mentions a manual in both regular and Ultimate editions..
The spellbook seems to be missing from the non-Ultimate Edition.

EDIT:
I think I understand the entry now. The manual included with GOG is of the vanilla Fallen Enchantress, non-Legendary Heroes, right?
