As we are probably aware GOG.com removed the Commandos games for the german customers. I would like to gather a list of all games that could be removed next (because they have Nazi symbolic in it/are seized in germany) with your help. Since you keep the games when you already own them I would like to grab them before they might get removed. When you know a game just post it in here and I will edit the list in the main post. :)

List of possible games:
- Medal of Honor: War Chest

Don't tempt them.
Some versions of Bloodrayne 1 and 2 have swastikas and some don't. I'm not totally sure which ones are on GOG.

There aren't many seized games in Germany, but I guess the indexed ones are at danger too:

The banning of things in Germany due to Nazi imagery. The irony is dripping from that like maple syrup.

Please don't make such a list. As we in Germany are all aware there are several GOG games that would need to be blocked. If GOG reads those names here they sure might be tempted to follow German law and block them, At least they would ask if those games would have to be blocked. So far GOG has only blocked games which have swastikas in it AND are forbidden in Germany. They have not blocked games which weren't released in Germany. Please don't make such a list and let the dogs sleep!

Unfortunately it is completely lost on those in charge...

You are so right. Today I thought about what would happen if the Nazis would have chosen a square as their sign and we wouldn't be allowed to use THAT anymore. It's pure nonsense in my eyes but unfortunately it is the law and arguing about sense or nonsense does not really help here in Germany as long as you cannot afford a lengthy lawsuit. But hey, we are allowed to see nude girls in TV without being 18 - that's a win :)

Well that certainly wasn't my intention but I think can see your point.
Don't show them what isn't banned yet. It is sad that Germany bans everything that has Nazi stuff in it. Games and what not. I think that we (im German) are past this and we can deal with things like swastikas in games. Heck, its in movies and no one is bothered by it. If they still insist on banning everything that was used by the Nazis, why don't we ban the German language as well, since the Nazis used it uhmagerd!

It bans ONLY games basicly. Art and news are allowed to contain Nazi Symbolics :)

What they didn't do is letting people think, belief, draw and play whatever they want... oh...

well, I consider games to be a form of art. I can even consider WW2 shooters a form of art if movies like inglorious basterds gets away with it. But I was referring to the stance on banning things related to Nazim in general, not just swastikas. Germany is always the first, and most times the only, to throw down the ban-hammer

Ofcourse Games are art but no publisher would bring that to court just to bring a version of a game to germany.

Eventually it will happen just like it did happen with comics (see "Maus").
All it needs is at least one dev to do it.
