I noticed at some point that e..g. "1nc3l" (or was it the plural form?) is a forbidden word here, when you replace 1 with i and 3 with e.

Make the first letter italic, like gogtrial does.

Ok maybe it has been unbanned then. At least I recall not being able to create a message where I used that historically accurate word.

I saw this post on the fly earlier and after just having tried for 30 min to edit a few of my reviews to change/add some things I discovered some rather funny nono word /combination that arent allowed there but that seemed to work few weeks ago when I first made it. Could be a weird finicky thing.
I had a no longer relevant forum post removed b/c it was likely my fault and not the games, and then wanted to edit my ref to that post in my review that now no longer is there, but then coldnt b/c of this.
So I literally just sat and edited it like 20 times one line/small paraphrase at a time to find the culprit xD

The word 'space/shift' and 'space-shift' is not allowed :P

But 'spaceshift' and 'space, shift' are fine tho xD

I was mentioning the keybind controls.

This made me lol out loud, kinda funny tbh.
The only possible naughty ref I can think of here is that it could mean something like a space diaper or space short groin cloth thing xD

This was the line b4 and its original:
Space/shift/left/right mouse click, wasd/arrow.

And after cause I had to change it:
Space, shift, left right mouse click, wasd/arrow.

The other words with / in between was fine tho.

I have 3 more reviews after having just checked for this that also wont let me post edit, 1 that I wanted to add something too also, so im gonna spam the edit option on those now to see if I can find the culprits there too so I know for next time:)

I guess I will find out in a sec when posting this if it will let me post that combination here on forum post or if its only in reviews!

Kinda funny tbh lol, but ok it would be nice if at some point with the system can let u know which words are triggering the lockdown, for future GOG updates :P

so it seems forum and reviews are not (always) tied to the same words b/c it works here.

the symbol < also tend to bug out ur review still. Anything after < will simply not be added and is kind of cut out :P
I alr found out after I had to have GOG do it for me last month cause it kept messing up, so that one still seem to be a funny one:)
-edit it also seems that no more than 5 same consecutive letters/signs are allowed in reviews.
Tho that tend to skip a beat on certain text decoration stuff. Such as ═══════ being able to have more than 5 '═' in a row, but another kind like ‗‗‗‗‗‗ cant have more than 5 '‗' in a row, which possibly got to do with taking up xtra invisible space in the text gen. Just spend a hour trying to riddle out this reviews mystery challenge to figure out what did it xD

You don't need an account. Just paste the text in the large textarea and press the "Create New Paste" button. After a cloudflare check, you get a URL like https://pastebin.com/RXjfyuhZ with your text, and that URL you can post here (or send to me via chat).

Since it's going to be a public post, I'm assuming you don't care about keeping it private. If you do, you can set the "Paste Expiration", "Paste Exposure" and/or "Password" fields before submitting.

Can be tedious, but it's pretty easy to check. Cut paragraphs one by one until it works, then check that last cut paragraph for potential "culprits". If you can't identify them directly, cut sentences one by one until it works, then check that last cut sentence. If you still can't figure it out, cut any words that appear just there one by one.
If after changing the identified word you still can't post the whole thing, repeat with the paragraphs cut before the last one to identify the second block.

Seems they just added full unbroken file pathways and dot names to the nono list in reviews too.
This worked like last week, I started adding info how to block analytics etc, now u gotta improvise and as a result its harder for users to copy paste to track it down if they see it to block it themself if they care.
Coincidence? I think not ><

18 yrs on steam, I know all these methods from over there alr /sigh.
