DubConqueror: I'm hoping by the time Windows 7 is end of line, Linux will have become so mainstream, all my games will have been made compatible to run on LInux.
mistermumbles: In five years? Highly unlikely.
Five years later, what is the conclusion?
I think it's not bad, even if I regret some games, even if I understand that some developers don't invest in a Linux version, there are a lot of native games, and I don't regret using Linux as the only OS.
Currently, Windows 7 has fewer users than Linux, and there are no more game releases for them.
With the release of Windows 11 and these new security features, will it be the same for games on Windows 10 in 5 years?
I am optimistic about the future of games on Linux.
I'm happy to be in it :-)
