It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Hi,

don't really visit the GOG forums much, so if this topic had already been opened I ask for the moderator to move this post.

I only have a sugestion - if posible I'd like to see what had been updated at the games I own, when I get the red notification above the game. I find going to the forum and browsing through (sometimes) countless replies more than a bit offputing.

THX
This has been brought up countless times.
The best advice I can offer is: search this thread for the game title. Or just look at mrkgnao's latest MaGog post in the same thread.

GOG updates used to work exactly as you described, but when they changed the website design, apparantly that system broke, and even though we've been lamenting it again and again, it doesn't look like it will be fixed any time soon (which I find quite weird, since it's such an obvious flaw in the current website that I would expect it to get top priority, but who knows how messed up the site's software really is).

It's good that the thread that Maighstir posted exists, but it's not a solution to the problem, just a temporary workaround, and it's very roundabout and unsatisfactory.

So, yeah, I totally agree with you, but I fear addressing this issue here on the forums (as others have done before) sadly won't change anything. :(
