Hello everyone,

Huge GOG fan here, especially the early DOS games. I've got a YouTube channel and I'm doing Tweak Guides that help people configure games optimally for great graphics, sound and music...

I've though about doing another type of video, more game related. Basically playing the start of a game, explaining what the game is about, talking about the controls and maybe a few tips and tricks. But nothing to deep. Basically something to help people decide if they like a game, but also to make people feel better "prepared" to play it.

I hope this make sense. Currently I thought about calling it Let's Play, but it seems the definition is to beat the entire game. I simply do not have the time for this :(

What do you guys think?

Thanks
TotalBiscuit does "first impression" with his "WTF Is...", where he's already played at most a few hours before the recorded video. While that may not fit your format (perhaps you've already played through the game a couple times, I don't know), I don't see how a "let's play" needs to finish the game, but a "quick look" might describe your idea better.

From my experience, a Let's Play can also consist of just a small part of a game. Finishing it isn't necessarily mandatory. The title of a video should probably indicate that it's not a comlete playthrough, though.

Some people have done variants on this.
Nerd³, for example, calls certain videos of his "Nerd³ plays...", which are just short bits and general impressions, while his walkthroughs are referred to as "Nerd³ completes...".
does mostly regular reviews and complete Let's Plays, but she also once had a series of short/incomplete gameplay videos called [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OI1IeqdwKjc]"Let's Play Shorties".
Yahtzee Croshaw came up with the "Let's Drown Out" series, where he and his friend Gabriel play some game for about an hour, where they start out talking about the game itself until they get bored and then turn to other topics, essentially combining the whole concept with that of a podcast.

Ok cool, thanks for the comments.

I'm making it clear at the beginning what the video is about. The first one is uploading. I might post it here to see what you guys think :)
Ok here is my very first one :)
