Star Crusader, a relatively unknown spacesim.

Astro Avenger 1 & 2, very good shmups, though a bit too short and easy.

I have good memories of this one: one weekend we gathered 3 friends and setup a co-op LAN party in the house of one of them, his parents was traveling. But there was a glitch in the final boss that prevented us from finishing the game, think about fun and frustration :D

I emailed the guy from Flat Rock Software (who sells these games now) and he said he'd look into selling on GOG.com!

Defiance, obscure fps from 1997.

Gunmetal, another obscure fps from 1998.

Gun Metal, a Transformer-like actiongame.
Really? I emailed him too a while back. Can you post what he exactly said?

My email:
"Hello,

I am wondering if you've considered selling the Catacomb and Dangerous Dave games on GOG.com. It is a popular site for buying DRM-free games and I think these would do well on it.

Please note that I do not represent the site, GOG.com, in any way. I am just a customer and a fan who would like to see it and great games of the past thrive and survive.

I look forward to your response."

His response:
"I have contacted them about this. Many thanks for the suggestion."

Very cool. Not only does he own Catacomb and Dangerous Dave. He also probably owns Keens Dreams and fucking Alien Rampage, which is EXTREMELY underrated.

I hadn't seen Alien Rampage before. That looks very good indeed. I cast my vote for what it's worth.

If these do make it here, they might be my first insta-buys (unless Heretic and Hexen get here first).

Yeah, that guy has some really interesting classics. For anyone who wants to see how id software got the ball rolling, should definitely check out Hovertank 3D and Catacomb 3D. After you see those Wolf 3D becomes a lot more interesting too imo.

GOG would be silly to decline. Hope something gets worked out and we see them here.
That's awesome, Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion was one of my favourite DOS games
Flashback, from the developers of Another World. It took me a long long time to find the name of this game again, years in fact to find it again. I'm curious and I'm interested. I'm going to make a check to see if it's on the wishlist.

Ever play the sequel to that called Fade to Black?

Haven't played Another World, or Flashback, I've never even heard of Fade to Black. I was more or less a console gamer growing up and I'm only 23 now.

Ah, my bad. I glanced over "I'm curious and I'm interested."

They're awesome games.
