What a fitting end. Playing his bass and let it resonate.

Tarm: Vodka. I'm trying to stay healthy the Lemmy way by drinking Screwdriver.
Otherwise you're most probably right. :)

Siannah: You're aware that this was just part of his sarcastic humor, right? So it should be whisky. Though I have to admit, it's not jack for me either.
Yeah. I tried to do humour myself. :P

It went private for me just after he got the bass. If this thing is reginonaly blocked that'll make me really angry..

Edit: Half way through the stream went private for me. If I'm not the only one I'm gonna get pissed. :/

Hey anyone get the stream? It's still on?

What happened? It is private for me too, I was watching bits (crap Internet connection) of it for a while, left and came back to it being private.
Guys and gals, the stream ended for everyone after they played that last string on Lemmy's bass. The memorial service ended with that.
For those that are too lazy to search:

Hope it stays up for a long while (not sure if it can be DMCA'ed from the person posting it).
Even though I watched it last night, I'm gonna wait for an official HD or something, so I can keep it as an archive.
Yeah, quality on that video is not too good. Still a good place to watch for those that missed it. And for the others, like me, that had certain hiccups during the live broadcast (particularly at the end for me). I checked Motörhead's official page just in case, doesn't seem to have anything (yet?).

Edit: LMAO, well scratch that it comes with the same hiccups I saw. Still for those that missed it, it's there.

Just been listening to Bomber, over and over again. The best years of my life were when I was 14-17 listening to AC/DC, Motorhead and Saxon. When Lemmy died the other day it made me want to look up their old stuff on YouTube again. Such a nice guy, right to the end. Even when they (Motorhead) were intimidating they were also kind of charming. British rock just rocked more than any other kind of rock at one point.

I keep listening to Lemmy goofing of with his bass and can't stop.
I managed to get over the sudden death of my great hero DIO some years ago and now I've been hit with this. Gotta learn how to cope and not get obsessed. :P

Edit: That smile he gives when he starts playing is something you know in your soul if you've ever gone the pop - > metal growing up along the way life. That smile is just pure joy. That's what metal I like gives me sometimes. A pure smile of pure joy. It's fucking magical in all its beauty.
