Hello, friends!

I'm looking for games that would work great in a LAN setting. I am a LAN Organizer looking to build my roster of LAN games. So far, I have picked up:

3 Players

- Trine: Enchanted Edition

4 Players

- Barony: Cursed Edition
- Divinity: Dragon Commander
- Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
- Lethal League
- TowerFall Ascension

6 Players

- Arcanum: Of Steamwork and Magick Obscura
- Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition

8+ Players

- 8-bit Hordes
- King Arthur's Gold
- Mount and Blade: Warband
- Rune Classic
- Serious Sam: The First Encounter
- Timeshift
- Unreal Gold
- Warsow

I have other games, but I am trying to find as many great LAN games as possible in GOG's library. I love their website, and will always buy through them over another website.

Thanks!

The first ones to come mind are

Heroes of Might and Magic 3,4,5. (Maybe 1 and 2 as well).
IL -2 Stormovik 1946
Chaos Reborn

Not here (yet), but if you can get Microprose F1GP3 (Geoff Crammond?). Or even F1GP4, you will be doing your customers? a favour.

Several other games are listed as multiplayer (Red Baron, Enemy Engaged - Apache / Havoc, and Comanche / Hokum) to name a few. Perhaps if you could do a search on "Multiplayer" you would get more ideas.
Best LAN games I've played on here:

Darkstone - 2 players, needs IPX wrapper (I like it better than Torchlight and Titan quest)
Empire Earth - up to 8 I think
IL-2 - not sure how many
Neverwinter nights (my personal favorite).- limits around 70ish if done right. Can go higher, I suppose. I suggest around 10.
Here are some of my picks:

The classic id Doom and Quake series of games are great for LAN parties. Especially with some of the excellent source ports available for them. The Unreal Tournament games are also solid multiplayer shooters. For strategy, I like Worms Armageddon.

Ultimate Doom

Doom II + Final Doom

Quake: The Offering

Quake II: Quad Damage

Quake III: Gold

Unreal Tournament: Game of the Year Edition

Unreal Tournament 2004 Editor's Choice Edition

Worms Armageddon
Erm, why did you list some website?

Anyhoe...

Grim Dawn.
Various titles come to mind, such as Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series, Heroes of M&M 3, Torchlight 2 (6 players), Din's Curse (32), Terraria, Starbound, any of the id tech 3 based shooters (you already have Warsow, but there's also OpenArena, Xonotic, World of Padman, etc.) or really any FOSS shooter (Cube 2, AssaultCube, Alien Arena, Unvanquished), etc.

If you're unsure if a game you already own supports LAN, visit the PC Gaming Wiki.
Heroes of Might and Magic 2 / 3 ! Also, have hot seat multiplayer. ^_^
I think maybe Warzone 2100. Not positive, though. Retail had it and I imagine the free release has it, too. Worth checking out, and you can't beat the price.

on GOG:

- Return to castle Wolfenstein
- F.E.A.R. PLATINUM
- Moto Racer 2 (some people have problems running this on LAN)

"no LAN" only local on the same pc (2 controls required):
- Blazblue Calamity Trigger
- Guilty Gear X2 Reload

on battle.net store(Key required)

- Warcraft 3
- Diablo 2
Dying Light has 4 player co-op.

fishbaits: Erm, why did you list some website?
That would seem to be the site of the LAN gaming organization of which he's a member.

hyperagathon: [...] Din's Curse (32 [players]), [...]
Actually, there's no hard upper limit; 32 is just a number that some sites such as Co-Optimus threw out apparently for the sake of attaching some number to it.

hyperagathon: [...]you already have Warsow, [...]
I think GOG stopped auto-adding those free games to new accounts a couple years ago.
EDIT: Never mind, I see you meant that he actually mentioned having Warsow. >_<

Maybe try filtering for LAN games on here? Of course, many are not available on GOG, but there are plenty which are, too. :)

Thanks, everyone!

And sorry fishbaits. Didn't think I'd need to explain a link that says "rivervalleylan" after I stated I was a LAN organizer, haha.

It just seemed an odd thing to do. Sort of advertising for more players on a global website, rather than locally ;)

Seriously though, Grim Dawn. Can even go mad & use the DAIL mod for some silly hard fights :D
Star Wars Galactic battlegrounds RTS for when you get tired of the FPS.
