It's "grynn.", not grynn

Fucking idiot is also killing my reputation while scamming people. Why doesn't GOG do something about it?

NO he is not killing your reputation mate - we all know you are a very valued member of the community. Relax, you know the saying "what goes around, comes around" - life will even the score at some point.

I always like to think that is the case. But for the moment, it sucks for the rest of us if the scammer succeeds.

Hey, thanks for your kind words Ian :) But that little dot might be hard to notice sometimes, and it really sucks to be impersonated, especially after he managed to scam a fellow GOG'er. Worst thing is I had to change my Eddie avatar hehe

Welcome back.
Did you crash the car?
Make sure you look at the top of your messages when replying to a PM from a member, it now tells you how long the member has been here and also the rep.

Also take a look at the work wpegg has been doing to help protect us, worthwhile visiting his site, he keeps mentioning it and it is worthwhile listening to him.

Other than that report the scammers to Firek, either blast him a PM with a link to a scammers post or send support an email.

We all just need to be vigilant

Lol, i thought it would be worth going back to my original pic. I see you have changed your pic also. It looks like an american football with spikes on it. Does it have anything to do with bloodbowl?
@gameon - yes it does mate, but it is far easier to spot now that the rep count is in messages.

@grynn - yes it does suck mate, we should all be cautious, even to the extent of checking in the forum before any trade is done - sad, but necessary at the min.

As Christmans is over, I wanted to get rid of my chrimbo avatar.
I've joined the GOG blood bowl league (and won my first match!!) so I thought it was appropriate.

Bloodbowl does look cool. I shall have to check the tournament thread out. The idea of any community gaming tournaments is interesting.
Wouldn’t it be smarter to also include a direct link to these scammers’ Steam profiles (i.e. that URL consisting only of numbers)? Otherwise you have to keep updating these lists whenever they change their name.
Someone is trying to scam people impersonating as "misfire200.". Do not confuse him with our generous fellow GOGer "misfire200". Please be careful.

That is not cool that there are people trying to go around scamming others.
